What if your paper or board machine could become a striking showcase of your company’s brand? Valmet’s advanced lighting solutions bring paper machines to life, effectively communicating their operations and current status.
Valmet’s paper and board machines have long been known for their pioneering innovations and cutting-edge technology. To showcase this innovation to their customers, Movya had the opportunity to visualize one of the most fascinating concepts—how lighting can be used as a visual element to enhance the customer experience and transform the appearance of a paper machine.
The production began when the concept was about to be implemented. Valmet had a front cover wall of a paper machine in an empty warehouse. The only thing was that it did not have the lighting system in place. And the paper machine was missing.
With Movya’s expertise in cinematic lighting, camera work, and direction, the unlit cover wall was filmed with actors and brought to life using 3D visualization of the paper machine and virtual lighting. The filmed footage was seamlessly integrated with the 3D animation.
The 3D work was based on a previous paper machine model that Movya had developed. This same model was later used in other marketing materials with slight modifications, making the OptiConcept M production and subsequent projects an efficient way to share assets and reduce overall investment between productions.
